Senior Scientist

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an In Vivo Senior Scientist specialising in DMPK to join their dynamic, high performing and friendly team. With project responsibilities you will be participating in the design and delivery of pre-clinicalDMPK studies to support multiple integrated drug discovery projects.

**Basic Requirements**:
- A degree in life sciences with relevant focus
- Demonstrable experience with _in vivo_ DMPK models and interpretation of data is required.
- Proven experience in contributing to project teams is essential
- Possession of a current Home Office Personal Licence would be advantageous.
- Highly adaptive and able to work effectively in a fast-moving and high-growth environment
- Ability to work with a closely interacting team to deliver tight deadlines
- Experience working within a contract research organisation is advantageous
- Familiarity with small molecule drug discovery and development, peptides/biologic drugs would be advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills, confident with internal and external interaction
- Strong attention to detail with high standards in data integrity
- A PhD would be advantageous but is not essential
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Participate in the design and delivery of pre-clinical in vivo DMPK studies
- Providing DMPK expertise to the team to enable the delivery of high-quality research, including practical advice and interpretation of data in a project context
- Leadership of client and internal studies through planning, execution and reporting phases with strong emphasis on customer service
- Hands-on in vivo support will be required although weekend work is only optional
- Quality control of data, preparation of formal reports for clients, and presentation of data at conferences and to customers
- Assist business development activities through technical presentations and discussions with clients/potential clients
- Expected to work closely with Principal Scientist to manage the delivery of DMPK portfolio.
