**Business Development Executive**

**Location**:Bracknell

**Type**:Full time, permanent

**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm-hybrid working

Our prestigious client is currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join their busy team, looking after a portfolio of 45 clients. You will report to the Senior Business Development Manager and have a pivotal role within a high functioningand successful team.

**The role**:
Profitable Revenue Growth:

- Ensuring the retention of your existing client base.
- Developing profitable and sustainable new revenue stream accounts.
- Helping provide information to give your client a compelling reason to engage.

Consultative Selling:

- This role is not cold calling, it is about opportunity an identification and conversation-based consulting.
- Building relationships and helping the business to maximise their growth opportunities.
- Delivering a strong mix of core database deliverables.
- Adding value solutions that match the client's needs.

Client Engagement:

- Engaging with customer contacts to strengthen working relationships.
- Creating a strong base of client contacts.
- Identifying additional stakeholders/decision makers to unable up-selling.

Facilitation:

- Overseeing the accurate and timely provision of solutions to your clients (with the help of support functions).
- Building a strong network of internal contacts to maximise support from across the commercial and operational teams.

Administration:

- Effectively, timely and accurately complete the financial administration.
- Completing the maintenance of opportunities.
- Keeping a sales pipeline up to date.
- Creating client P&Ls.
- Renewing client contracts.
- Forecasting and fulfilling internal reporting as required.

Data & Insights:

- It is important that you can understand client's objectives, to build trust through your knowledge and opinions of their own and industry issues.
- You will need to keep abreast of developments as well as be confident to use the company's data to achieve this.

**Skills & Experience**:

- A driven and focused person, who is eager to engage with clients every day.
- Able to demonstrate commercial acumen with some experience in a client facing role.
- Well thought out planning and organisation.
- Self-motivated and assured at presenting to all levels.
- Strong relationship builder, both internal and external.
- Understanding of a 'consultative selling approach' with proven questioning and listening skills.
- Confident working with data with a good working knowledge of Excel and some PowerPoint.
- Ideally educated to degree level.
