We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Customer and Workplace Proposition team as a Behavioural Insights Senior Consultant.

**Summary of Role**:
The role holder should have a very good understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research techniques and demonstrated a very good understanding of behavioural sciences, especially behavioural economics or behavioural finance.

**Key Tasks**
- Review predominantly customer-facing collateral created by colleagues in Communications, Proposition, Brand, UX, Operations, Sales from a behavioural point of view - 30%
- Support creation of and potentially deliver content that applies behavioural insight in adviser and workplace channels (e.g. webinars, conferences, published papers) - 20%
- Use research background to ensure maximum value is derived from research and insight budget. From commissioning agencies who deliver the best value to providing internal support where customer testing can be completed in house. - 10%
- Stay on top of developments and contribute to trends in the behavioural science / finance / economic communities - 5%
- Ensure correct processes and procedures are followed at all times including audit requirements, MOS management and GDPR/legal & risk commitments are adhered to. 5%

**Essential Criteria**
- Bachelor / Masters / PhD with appropriate experience in the behavioural sciences, especially behavioural economics or finance.
- Experience in conducting behavioural studies from set-up to delivery.
- Experience and knowledge of research methodology including both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
- Very good working knowledge of behavioural finance and behavioural economic techniques.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Professional user of SNAP surveys or similar software used to design complex surveys and conduct advanced statistical analysis and reporting
- Very confident user of data and meticulous data analysis skills.
- Ability to present findings effectively and engage stakeholders through storytelling
- Ability to influence internally including at executive/Management level to ensure decisions can be made to support customer focused strategy
- Ability to work cross functionally and influence stakeholders
- Must be outgoing, pro-active and able to influence a departmental culture.
- Independent, creative thinker with an interest in retirement, long-term savings and investing.

**Qualifications**
- Degree level qualifications or equivalent industry experience
