**Role Summary**:
We are excited to be hiring for a day-to-day Financial Assistant, supporting the preparation of Bank Reconciliations, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Bordereaux Payments and Service Standards.
**Location**:
This is a Hybrid-Role: Office based in **Doncaster**, some home-working.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Sales Ledger
- Assist with reconciliation and reporting of aged debtor balances on a monthly basis.
- Drive resolutions of aged debtor balances between relevant internal and external parties.
- Post bank receipts into various operating and accounting systems.
Purchase Ledger
- Post, reconcile and report creditor activity and assist with credit control within the division.
- Process payments within agreed SLA’s.
General Ledger
- Prepare bank reconciliations including investigation and resolution of reconciling items.
- Responsible for weekly bank deposits and reconciliation of ad hoc receipts.
- Completion of balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
- Verify that all data is extracted across various operating systems into the general ledger.
**Other Key Responsibilities**
- Timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Provide support as required to the Finance Supervisor.
- Support to deliver Finance department projects as undertaken.
- Continuously seek to enhance systems and controls within the finance department.
- Always meet stakeholders needs and requirements and adhere to company values.
- Ad hoc duties as and when required.
**Skills/Qualities/Experience**:
- Exchequer (preferred or suitable accounting package).
- MS Excel.
- Ability to execute in a timely and efficient manner when provided tasks.
- Ability to think laterally in a problem solving/trouble shooting capacity.
- High level of accuracy.
**Qualification Requirements**:
- 5 GCSE’s grade C and above (including Math’s and English) or equivalent.
- A desire and willingness to undertake further professional qualifications.
