**Financial Administrator **£13.83 p/h**

**18.75 hours - to be worked Wednesday, Thursday and Friday**

The Financial Administrator works in an exciting and busy role. Whilst you will have responsibility for the finance function you will also support a range of other administrative/reception tasks. Being able to multi-task and prioritise in a vibrant setting will be a distinct advantage.

You will be responsible to the Care Home Manager and will be required to maintain accurate records of income and expenditure, maintain excel spreadsheets in respect of fees, and be able to help set up the yearly budget, process invoices and payments, work to deadlines and offer secretarial support including correspondence, typing, filing, producing reports and maintaining staff records.

**You will have**:

- Business Administration/Customer Services at Level 3 (or demonstrable equivalent
- similar qualifications)
- Recognised IT qualification e.g., ECDL (or equivalent)
- Experience of keeping accounts, invoicing, banking and monitoring budgets.
- Previous experience of administration/office work
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and empathetically with a wide range of people
- Self-Motivation/Enthusiasm/Flexibility
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work within the ethos of the Institute of Our Lady of Mercy

We aim for all staff employed in our Care Homes to be required to have undertaken an Enhanced DBS check (together with an Adult Barred list check where applicable) as they may be called on to undertake regulated activity as part of a ‘whole home’ approach to providing high quality responsive care in accordance with CQC requirements and Government legislation.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18.75 per week
