Nigel Wright are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with a manufacturing business located in Teesside who are looking to appoint a commercial manager.This is an excellent opportunity to join a high growth business in a key commercial role andwill offer hybrid working.
**Role**
Reporting into the commercial director, key areas of responsibility will include:

- Delivering sales with new and existing customers across 3 main product areas.
- Identifying opportunities in new product sectors.
- Managing and developing sales commercial relationships with customers.There is a key focus on relationship management of customers, providing a clear service dimension and working with customers to provide solutions.
- Support in the procurement ofraw materials, this will include commodity chemicals and utilities spend and will involve negotiations with suppliers and supporting in contractual discussions.
- Pricing of products.
- The role will be required to deputise for the commercial director.

**Experience**:

- A background in sales, with the desire and ability to develop broad sales and commercial skills.
- Manufacturing sector background is required.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering an outstanding experience for customers and suppliers.
- A desire to be part of a close knit team, capable of operating at all levels and willing to roll sleeves up and get involved where needed.
- Ambitious to learn and become an integral member of the team.
- Able to work across the group, regular contact at group level will be part of the role.
- Open to travel internally and to customers (mainly London based) as and when required
