**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**CLUB OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR**

**Responsible to**: General Manager.

**Responsible for**: Provide an effective role in the administrative and business support to Wilmslow members, visitors, guests, staff and suppliers.

**Attributes**
- Prioritise workload and work with minimum supervision.

**Specific Duties**
- Administer the Club Membership process from enquiry to invoicing.
- Administer and collate all Personnel files
- Administer and collate all Health and Safety files
- Administer all the Club matches, and Club Open Competitions including diary & website management.
- Administering arrangements with Visitors, Societies and Tour Operators, for bookings, allocating tee times and subsequent correspondence.
- Provide telephone support in the office and attending promptly and courteously and maintain confidentiality.
- Processing of paperwork that will include the club’s Financial (Invoices) and HR documentation.
- Support the effective administration of all the information held by the club’s office in relation to its members, contractors and suppliers.
- Undertake customer facing duties effectively and efficiently, take and deliver messages and deal with enquiries in a polite and friendly manner.
- Supporting club officials with communication and administrative requirements.
- Maintaining staff records and keeping records of the Club’s pension and life insurance schemes.
- Monitoring/issuing of courtesy voucher requests
- Manage locker & trolley space allocations
- Stationary, printing and swipe card orders
- Welcoming visitors and guests to the club and assisting with their enquiries.
- Ensure that information on notice boards is kept up to date.
- Dealing with and distributing the club’s mail/post.
- Comply with Wilmslow’s confidentiality requirements, policies and procedures.

**Essential**
- Strong customer relationship skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Experienced user of computer software that includes Microsoft Office e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word.
- The ability to learn new computer software such as the club’s golf software for managing visitor bookings and membership information.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritise work
- Excellent literacy skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

**Desirable**
- A background or interest in golf and the golf industry.
- Experience with Golf Club Management Systems (Intelligent Golf preferred) and website administration.

**Conditions of Employment**
- 35 hours a week, Core hours 09:00 - 16:30. (inc. 30-minute unpaid break per day)
- Place of work - The Wilmslow Golf Club.
- Holidays - up to 28 days per year (pro-rata) inclusive of bank holidays.


**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
