An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Leader in Blackpool to support the manager and oversee a small team within a Residential Home for Children and Young People with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties and challenging behaviours. Youwill be joining the company at a very exciting time of growth and expansion.
As the Team Leader your responsibilities will include ensuring the Children and Young People receive high quality of care in line with Ofsted. You will support the Registered manager with effectively managing rotas and supervisions for your team, oversee trainingand development of the team, providing informal practical and emotional support to colleagues experiencing difficulties in addition to developing and maintaining key relationships with children, staff, parents and professionals.
You will be a resilient, passionate and professional individual with excellent leadership skills. You must have an excellent understanding of Ofsted and have the drive to work towards excellent reports.
You must have a Diploma Level 3 in Children and young people's services or equivalent and experience of leading a team within a Children and Young People's residential service. You must hold a full UK Driving license with access to your own car.
This is a full-time position working on a Rota system. In return for your hard work, you will receive a starting salary of £17,901 not inclusive of sleeps which are £74.30 each, with an average of 10-13 sleeps per month which will be a minimum additional amountof £8900 on top of your salary.
