Land Buyer

**About The Role**:
CALA Homes Thames Ltd are looking to recruit a Land Buyer to join the team. Reporting to the Land Director, you will assist the team based in Staines to enable them to manage the regions land acquisitions and subsequent development projects.
**About You**:
With proven experience in a similar role you will also be responsible for the preparation of market research reports to identify sales values and other relevant issues, as well as carrying out research and investigations into site ownership, planning and legal issues. Other key parts of your role are, but not limited to:
- Preparation of Land Bids, presentations and supporting information
- Work closely with the wider business to ensure the smooth delivery of new sites into the business.
- Attend planning committee meetings, as well as meetings with external planning consultants, agents/owners and local authorities
It is important that you can build on your existing network and establish new connections with land and planning contacts to procure land opportunities.
As this is a varied and deadline driven position, you must be reliable and flexible and able to act on your own initiative and be able to work under pressure due to strict deadlines in the land acquisition process. You must also hold a full driving licence to be able to travel to potential sites with a view of sourcing new opportunities.
