Robertson Bell have partnered with a local council based in South Leicestershire as they recruit a permanent Finance Business Partner to join their team. This role is responsible for working closely with budget holders and providing effective financial servicesto support strategic decision making.

**The key duties of this role include**:

- Playing a critical role in managing the business partnering for a number of cost centres and budget holders
- Responsibility for monitoring budgets and providing key advice to budget holders to assist in strategic decision making
- Maintenance of the accounting ledgers and producing management accounts for the various cost centres
- Assisting in adhoc responsibilities within the finance team
- A part-qualified finance qualification (CIPFA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Local council or government experience
- Strong end-to-end management accounting experience
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with budget holders
