The Role: We are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a high performing Financial Services business based in Leicester as they look to add a Finance Business Partner into their finance team. This role sits at the intersection of Finance and the Commercial functions and is looking for someone that can support shaping the business’ strategic objectives through planning, analysis and business intelligence. Key Responsibilities: Perform in-depth analysis of current and historical KPIs, focusing on revenue sources and key profitability drivers. Build detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives across Group and various divisions. Deliver executive-ready insights through trend evaluation, variance analysis, and forecasting. Collaborate with senior leadership to assess business opportunities, new product launches, and market expansion plans. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and regional offices to ensure accurate revenue recognition and proper revenue segmentation for analysis. Drive the adoption and enhancement of business intelligence tools to provide impactful analytics that inform strategic decision-making. Spearhead the shift toward data-driven insights by standardising key business metrics such as client counts, wins/losses, and assets into a single, consistent source of truth. Develop and sustain forward-looking financial models to forecast market trends and identify growth opportunities. The Ideal Candidate: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant Proven track record in a similar Finance Business Partner role – ideally within a private equity backed business or within Financial Services. Open to a strong month-end Accountant who is commercial astute and keen to step up into this role. Ability to "Tell a Story" to non-finance when presenting the numbers Strong Excel and Financial Modelling Commercial mindset with the desire to make a genuine impact and add value within what is a highly visible role.
