**Residential Support Worker - Children’s Home**
**Location**: Altrincham
**Hourly Rate**: £12.70 - £13.72
**Shift Pattern**: 2 on / 4 off

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? Do you want to be part of an exciting new team from the very beginning? We’re opening a brand-new residential children’s home and are looking for caring, committed **Residential Support Workers** to help build a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

**About the Role**:
As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting children and young people with their daily routines, emotional well-being, and personal development. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that puts the needs of each child at the centre of everything they do.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Support children with daily routines, including personal care, meals, and activities
- Build positive, trusting relationships with young people to help them feel safe and valued
- Encourage children’s independence, confidence, and life skills
- Respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations
- Work closely with your team to deliver consistent, child-focused care
- Follow safeguarding policies and support the home’s values and routines

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Willingness to work a 2 on / 4 off shift pattern, including sleep-ins
- Experience in a care or support role is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided
- A team player who is reliable, supportive, and committed
