Bangor Business School is a leading teaching and research focused business school offering a full range of disciplines from undergraduate to doctoral level. Bangor Business School is exclusively licensed in offering the Chartered Banker MBA (CBMBA) and the Financial Crime & Compliance MBA (FCCMBA), these Executive Education programmes are delivered by means of distance learning to qualifying financial services professionals.

Purpose of the Job

Main

**Responsibilities**:

- Support enquirers and applicants, with admissions questions relating to the executive education programme of interestProvide programme Partner’s with details of applicants, for in-country follow-ups to take placePrepare offer letters, and issue to applicants and offer support with their admission to the programme. Follow up with applicants on offers made.-
- Work through the debtor report, noting payments received and chasing students for their semester fee, or any due payments- Check on student accounts and update despatch list for each clear account for the new semesters- Set up payment plans in Agresso, in-line with agreed schedule- Update despatch campaigns, to encourage fees for the coming semester- Provide STA with student arrears information as necessary for the external debt collection agency to carry out their investigations- Prepare write off accounts to present to the Finance Committee- Support the Marketing Officer and Team Leader with any other duties that might reasonably be expected by the post holderThe above-mentioned duties and responsibilities are indicative and are not intended to be exhaustive. **Responsibilities**:

- The post holder will be expected to participate in performance review and developmental activities.

Experience/Knowledge

Essential
- Experience of working within an office /administrative environment.
- Experience of working with databases.
- Experience of implementing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures.

Skills/Abilities

Essential
- Good communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Able to communicate and develop effective relationships with colleagues at all levels of the University.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle a varied and demanding workload, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
- Ability to be proactive and identify and recommend changes for improvement where appropriate.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative

Desirable
- The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh.
