We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join us in Gloucester.

You will be accountable for overall engineering technical, cost, and schedule performance on your assigned programme. You will be experienced with common engineering practices and methodologies and will work with programme management to ensure organisationalstandard processes are tailored, approved and followed.

**Day to day duties include**:

- Ensuring all programme engineering requirements are verified.
- Document, track and maintain the requirements baseline.
- Identifying engineering scope and producing estimates to deliver it.
- Managing cost and schedule throughout project execution to deployment.
- Managing risks and opportunities.
- Gathering inputs for resource and schedule planning.
- Leveraging best practices.
- Communicating with suppliers and customer stakeholders.
- Producing metrics to report project status upwards.
- Liaises with Engineering Project Managers on other programmes in order to negotiate use of staff.

**In order to be successful, you must have**:

- An understanding of modern Engineering methodologies and processes.
- Engineering background on a variety of programmes.
- Proven track record on software intensive programmes.
- Proven track record in technical team leadership.
- Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to provide quality support across the range of disciplines, and possessing a 'can-do' attitude.
- Work to create an environment of trust, diversity and ethical standards as laid down by the company.
- Strong self-awareness and a capacity to reflect on own practice and to learn from mistakes.

**It will be highly beneficial if you have experience in**:

- Multiple Engineering disciplines.
- Enterprise Architect / Artisan (PTC Modeller).
- HP Quality Centre.
- Interfacing with customers.
