Project Manager

**Your next role** Are you looking for the next step in your project management career and seeking a Project Manager role? We have two new opportunities for developing or experienced project management professionals to join our Intelligence & Cyber EMEA division. Currentlywe have two roles available:

- Project Manager within the Information Resilience development team, focusing on complex research and development projects and product development focused on Crypto capabilities
- Project Manager within the Electronic Warfare development team, focusing on framework aligned research and development projects with scope to cover some product development

Both roles report to a Portfolio Manager and generally will run one or more projects with up to 15 multi-disciplined engineers allocated. Projects and team sizes vary and you will receive support from senior managers, peers and the Project Management Office(PMO).

At L3Harris, in our Intelligence & Cyber International (ICI) division, we work closely with UK Government and Security Agencies to shape and build cutting-edge solutions that combat the ever-evolving threats faced by the public and private sectors on a dailybasis. Our pedigree is primarily in the areas of Crypto and Electronic Warfare including Counter IED capability, we also have significant and growing work in the area of Counter-UAS.

**What the role will involve**

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

- Plan, specify and manage the production of bid submissions working with bid management and also maintain future opportunity/demand schedules. Work closely with and provide support to the sales & marketing department to capture targeted customer funded businessin accordance with company forecasts and plans.
- To plan, specify and maintain the projects in line with the strategic plan/product roadmap ensuring benefits align, including Business Case generation.
- Create a detailed Risk Assumptions Issues and Dependency log for the project.
- Plan the projects and monitor their overall progress, manage risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective action to ensure projects are executed within the agreed schedule, cost and performance.
- Enact projects following the L3Harris defined project management process, including customisation of projects using the Project Tailoring Tool, following the Project Management Plan.
- Produce project management reports in line with the defined internal cadence and process.
- Where directed monitor the project using Earned Value Management providing SPI and CPI values.
- Work to support commercial aspects of the project including customer letters, change control and adherence to terms.
- Financial Management: Support the Integrated Business Planning production of sales and cash and invoicing. To be accountable for revenue and gross margin achievement on standard projects, monitoring the expenditures and costs as the projects progress. Reportingfinancial data and forecasts on managed and other identified projects.
- Lead the customer interaction and customer relationship management for allocated projects.
- Manage the project stakeholder community, including where appropriate holding Integrated Project Team meetings with Operations, Suppliers, Finance and Customers.
- Contribute to Produce Exec/Ops reports as requested.

**What you'll bring**

The role requires the following experience and skills:

- A minimum of 2 years project management experience including schedule, scope, risk and opportunities, resource and financial management and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with experience of managing relationships with all levels of the business.
- Full project lifecycle experience including the practical and effective use of formal project and risk management tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes/product lifecycle.
- Financial experience of reporting including sales revenue.

Desirable
- APMP Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or Prince 2 Practitioner
- Business / Science / Engineering degree or HNC/HND or equivalent qualification
- Defence sector experience
