**Objectives**
- To provide our customers with a helpful, friendly and honest service
- Meet personal and company sales objectives

**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing sales orders received via our website (web orders)
- Liaising with colleagues, customers and suppliers as appropriate to fulfil web orders
- Maintain a friendly and helpful service to our trade customers
- Work as part of a team to ensure a high level of service to our trade customers
- Add value to our service where possible
- Increase sales revenue where possible by up-selling as appropriate
- Support with customer after-sales enquiries where appropriate, in liaison with the customer service department
- Manage and organise your own time efficiently
- Maintain the sales database (mostly contacts) within the scope of your role
- Focus on your own sales performance and the company sales targets

**Key Skills and Competencies**
- Experience and/or desire to work within a busy office environment working closely with internal and external sales colleagues
- Ability to manage own time efficiently and balance workload to maximise selling time
- Computer skills - Basic Microsoft Office: (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- ERP: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (knowledge useful but not essential)
- Self-disciplined, organised and able to work on own initiative and with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with desire and ability to achieve own and agreed goals

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Sales experience ideal but not essential
- Good level of school and/or further education with certificates to support

**Training**

Training appropriate to the role and person will be provided. You may be required to take part in product training to develop your overall awareness of brands and products.

**Computer Skills**

We use Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC), an integrated Accounts / CRM / Stock / Purchasing package, which is a very powerful business tool. A good level of knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Excel and Word is essential.
