This unique international charity is currently seeking a Programme Finance Manager to join their close-knit, vibrant team on a permanent basis. Reporting into an experienced, down-to-earth Director of Finance, this role assumes sole responsibility for allthings donor finance within the charity, from work on funding proposals, to implementing programmes and reporting directly back to a range of institutional donors.

**The key duties of this Programme Finance Manager role are as follows**:

- Take the lead on the financial management and compliance of all grants across the charity, reporting on all financial matters to specific major donors, including analysis of project expenditure against budgets.
- Business partner with the international finance teams, challenging attitudes, updating budgets according to programme changes and dealing with queries as required.
- Provide invaluable support to the in-country teams right from the programme bid development stage, scoping programmes to put together budgets to submit to the donors.
- Undertake international travel to various locations to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders on programme-specific matters and ensure compliance with donor contract terms.
- Play a leading role in the annual donor audits.

This Programme Finance Manager role would officially be based out of the charity’s head office in London, however hybrid working arrangements are on offer. The role offers an exceptional opportunity for someone with previous donor finance experience whois looking to take a step up into a standalone role whilst liaising with a variety of stakeholders across the globe.
- Proven experience of reporting to major donors.
- Previous experience working within the international charity sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of donor audits and compliance.
