**About the role**

We are looking for an energetic and experienced Mechanical Team Leader who is keen to get involved in project delivery; being involved from the beginning - to establish Engineering requirements and working closely with the Design and scientist communityto deliver the best possible solutions in an Agile manner. This requires close liaison between, Mechanical Engineering, Team Leaders, Group leaders, and other Engineering teams and suppliers across the UK at this stage. Significant drive and energy, strongengineering skills, and the ability to deliver a diverse programme to demanding time, target cost and quality requirements are essential.

**What do I need?**
- The Mechanical Team Leader should have a strong engineering background.
- You must have a strong track record of leading people.

**What will I be doing?**

The Mechanical Team Leader should be able to establish a creative and curious culture in their team and inspire others to be the best they can be.

You must be able to understand the business needs & establish a local strategy to realising business success relating to this skill.

The Mechanical Team Leader should be adept at building relationships & networks to integrate with the wider community.

You must be adept at establishing a robust team with a positive growth mind-set.

You should be a great listener & able to take learning points from any source - using metaphor & analogy to ensure messages which resonate with the community.

The Mechanical Team Leader should be able to hold robust conversations & challenge norms and practices.
