About the role

We are currently recruiting for a cleaner within one of our main sites based at MoD Boscombe Down, in Salisbury. This site provides high security with a range of skill-sets to various parts of the business being managed here. You’ll be joining the site operations and cleaning team to help to deliver the safe, effective and efficient operational capability. The site comprises of two operational runways as well as extensive facilities to undertake a wide range of test and evaluation.

The role reports to the Team Leader. This post is also responsible for the operational aspects of how a facility is cleaned, sanitised and how maintained employing various processes and guidelines that QinetiQ businesses adhere to.

What do I need?

**Experience**:
Previous experience of corporate cleaning or a relevant background within cleaning, sanitation

Willingness to learn and be a part of a team

Must hold a valid UK driving licence and be able to drive a manual car and 4x4.

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for the operational aspects of corporate-level cleaning. As well as the delivery of various health and safety compliance and maintaining the cleaning and sanitising of various facilities on site.

**You will be responsible for**:
Ensuring that high standards of cleaning and hygiene are delivered across site.

Improving employee engagement within the Site Operations Management function by ensuring that all buildings meet the highest hygiene standards complying with current standards.

Customer satisfaction by delivering consistently high hygiene standards and compliance with current standards.

Provide robust and flexible support and undertake a number of duties such as general duties and routine tasks associated with the Soft Services Function.

Escorting site operations contractors and providing general support as required to the wider soft service and site operations team.

This may also extend to the careful disposal of sensitive information in offices or across site.
