**New Directions is currently seeking Agency Care Assistants to work in the Ammanford area.**

Since 2010 ND Care & Support have provided a range of bespoke care services for children, young adults, adults and older people throughout Wales. We are a registered member of the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide Personal Care and Support to people in their own homes.
- Assist with activities of Daily Living, including Bathing, Dressing, and Grooming.
- Administer Medication as directed by Healthcare Professionals.
- Assist with Meal Preparation and feeding.
- Perform light Housekeeping Tasks, such as Cleaning and Laundry.
- Accompany clients to Appointments and Outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the Care Coordinator.
- Provide Emotional Support and Companionship.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Previous experience in Caregiving an advantage, but not essential.
- A good communicator, who is friendly and approachable.
- You will need to be a compassionate, kind and dependable individual.
- Have the ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- **A full Driving License and your own transport is essential.**

**What we offer**:

- New starter bonus of £250*
- Paid travel and waiting time up to 30 minutes.
- Paid mileage on support sessions (40p per mile).
- Full time hours and set shifts.
- £12.00ph weekdays and £12.50ph on weekends.
- Full visits / calls paid, not minute by minute.

- Free Uniform and PPE.
- 3 day Induction Training, including Basic Life Support, Manual Handling and Medication.
- Support to achieve Social Care Wales Registration.
- We are fully committed to the protection of children and vulnerable adults. All applicants must undertake a full enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
