New Directions Care & Support are seeking exceptional individuals to join our team of dedicated Care Assistants in the Ammanford area. You may already be an established carer, or new to caring, either way we offer full training and support, including a 5-day Induction and an experienced carer to buddy with once you are ready to meet our clients.

**You will need to**:

- Have a **full UK Driving License or an International Driving License **valid for at least 6 months.
- **Have your own car** and be prepared to purchase business insurance.
- **Be able to commit to at least 16 hours a week and available to work every other weekend.**:

- Be a compassionate, kind individual, who is dependable and ready to go the extra mile when required.

**The role involves**:

- Caring for people in their own homes by following an individual Care Plan.
- Personal Care: Showering/bathing/dressing & changing incontinence aids.
- Meal Preparation: Assisting and supporting during meal times.
- Manual Handing: Using specialised equipment to safely move clients.
- Administering Medication.
- Assisting around the home.
- Companionship: Including trips out into the community.
- Accurate record-keeping and hand-overs.

**What we offer**:

- £13.45ph weekdays and £14.01ph on weekends (please note, these pay rates include your rolled-up holiday pay).
- **We will pay for you Enhanced DBS check, Social Care Wales registration fee and Blue Light Card, saving you over £70**:

- Weekly pay.
- Refer a Friend bonus of £150 for you and your friend if they join us*
- Paid travel and waiting time up to 30 minutes.
- Paid mileage on support sessions (40p per mile).
- Full time hours and set shifts, or flexible shift patterns.
- Free PPE & uniform.
- New Starter Induction & Training at our Cross Hands Office, which we pay you to attend.
- Support to achieve Social Care Wales Registration.
