Job Introduction
Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

**Shifts run between**: 07:30 - 17:30, from Monday to Friday

**Hours of work**: 37 per week

**Contract**: Permanent

**Location**:Okehampton Training Camp, Okehampton, Devon, EX20 1QP

Main Responsibilities
- To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are fit for purpose
- Clean accommodation blocks, classrooms, offices, welfare areas and ablutions
- Perform general maintenance: changing window handles, gutter clearing, decorating
- Conduct basic groundskeeping: grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming
- Manage legionella prevention and operate equipment (training provided)
- Work in a diverse multi-tasking mobile team environment
- Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
- Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
- General housekeeping, caretaking and DIY knowledge
- Understanding of Health and Safety procedures
- Basic understanding of fire prevention
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to complete documentation
- Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential)
