**Pricing Manager - Erith**

Würth UK Ltd is looking to appoint a Pricing Manager to work closely with operations and sales management, to develop and implement appropriate pricing strategies across the business.

Key tasks - Operative
- Maintain, develop and enhance appropriate pricing for products and services
- Ensure delivery of the Würth UK Pricing strategy
- Highlight margin opportunities within key categories and channels
- Monitor and react to gross profit developments on a daily basis
- Work cross-functionally with a variety of internal departments, including sales, marketing, e-commerce and accounts to ensure that the pricing methodology complies with company policies and maximises profitability
- Provide industry expertise on pricing trends and competitor pricing
- Work closely with sales management to develop and roll out pricing models and strategies for product lines and families, ensuring that any pricing changes are clearly managed and communicated to stakeholders
- Maintain price lists, contribute content for sales training, review price quotes and generate reports on gross profit
- Create and renew price contracts with sales force management and key accounts
- Prepare presentations and hold training courses
- Train sales employees on negotiation and how to maximise gross profit including regular travel to team meetings
- Optimization of existing pricing processes
- Calculate and advise management on necessary price increases
- Projects in the area of price management to develop sales opportunities and gross profit
- Manage a team that currently consists of 4 employee

For this role you should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- High level of numeracy, attention to detail and PC skills
- Experience in a Pricing Manager / Senior Pricing Analyst / Pricing department role Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
- Proven analytical ability
- SAP ERP experience would be advantageous
- Ability to communicate complicated information in an understandable manner at all levels
- Ability to manage and motivate people
- Sales or negotiation experience
- Relevant qualifications - A levels and/or preferably degree in business administration, finance, mathematics, accounting, economics or a closely related discipline
- Understanding of B2B sales and distribution environment

The role is offered on a full time permanent basis. We offer an excellent package which includes competitive remuneration, pension and 20 days holiday (plus statutory holidays) rising to 25.
