**Product Manager based in Erith, Kent**

**Salary: £22,500 to £27,500 with OTE of £3,000 per annum plus Company Car, Laptop and Mobile Phone.**

**Position Summary**

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the chosen product category and for achieving target growth for this category for Würth UK and Würth Ireland. You will become the face of your product category.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the range is priced, promoted and stocked correctly.

You will be responsible for the range hygiene and this will include but not be limited to the following; Product launches, product registration and discontinuation, stock ordering, briefing sheets, purchase order documentation, pricing (PFEP monitoring)and web/speedy update, proofing of all documentation. As well as product lifecycle management to include overstock reduction, end of line product reduction, range streamlining or expansion.

The range will also need to be marketed to all areas of the business; the salesforce, the shops and online. This will be through product focuses, training and marketing materials.

**Roles and responsibilities**
- Working with consultant/customers and providing prompt responses to all queries
- We must treat KAM requests with priority and have the ability to source products from outside of The Group and bring them into the range.
- Support the team/internal sales and operational teams with questions/queries.
- Analysis on new or target products, promotions and channel focuses.
- Completion of all ISO documentation to required standards
- Analysis on new or target products, promotions and division focuses.
- Consultant workouts & sales meeting attendance.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Product or Marketing related role.
- Product maintenance, (including strategies and action planning, to sustain and grow turnover and market presence). Constant analysis of your product category, to ensure that stock is available to sell this means contacting alternative suppliers, fightingfor alternative stock at the best price.
- Product marketing plan strategies for short, medium and long term visions, based on market driven direction, channel focus and company strategy.
- Competitor analysis including SWOT
- Product business plan to include supplier negotiations with purchasing agreement implementation, consignment stock, MOQ, deliveries, price reductions, branding and labelling.
- Product testing
- Brand Management
- Point of sale, product support material and advertising options i.e. how are we getting the info out into the marketplace.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a product or marketing related role within the industry.
- Product training, either attending online webinars, local suppliers, visiting other countries production sites and product training in UK or Germany.
- Ensuring all contact points have appropriate levels of training and are made aware of our ranges, together with the product trainers.
