**Electrical Manager, Middlesex, Up to £60k + Car

**Objective**
**Description of role & Job requirements**
**Operational and commercial duties**
Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion
Assume overall contractual and financial responsibility for allocated projects
Plan, implement and deliver projects according to programme, budget and quality
Sub-Contractor management and returning monthly appraisal forms
Site Audit Reports including sub-contractor snags
Ensure all orders are placed within budget constraints, searching the market for best prices
Ensure materials are available to suit programme and achieve efficient productivity
Procurement of Sub-Contractors and Materials
Attend project / progress meetings as required.
Monitor and ensure programme timeframes are adhered to and record if not
Submit monthly valuations / requests for payment
Price and document all changes / CVI’s / variations
Ensure good working relationships are maintained, dealing with any issues promptly
Record any delay and prolongation costs where applicable and build claim and send contractual correspondence
Ensure profitability of job and report profit progress to Management in bi-weekly / monthly meetings
The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
**Technical**
Have full knowledge of project drawings and specifications, both working and technical
Responsible for checking and red pen drawings
Ability to price, buy and engineer works.
Working on tenders, estimating, and providing quotations to customers.
Value Engineering where applicable
Make technical enquiries to suppliers to clarify technical queries
Programming of works
Health & Safety management (RAMs)
**Document control**
Documentation, Presenting documents in an appropriate format, PDF when necessary
Completion of end of project documentation including O & M's
**Personal requirements**
Good communication skills, written, oral and presentation. interpersonal skills at all levels
Good people management and motivational skills.
Professional in approach, outward looking and confident.
Promotes effective teamwork, shares information freely and responsibly.
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise accordingly.
Full UK driving licence.
DBS checked - to be administered by HMS on successful placement.
**Experience**
Have a minimum of 5 years supervisory or management experience.
Previous experience managing multiple projects
Have worked and delivered projects within the commercial & industrial sector up to £1m.
**Qualifications**
Qualified to NVQ level 3 as a minimum in a Mechanical or Electrical Discipline.
Related electrical & technical qualifications - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
**Desired**
Holder of NICEIC certificate currently or previously
Certificate of Higher Education
SSSTS
SMSTS
Live within a reasonable distance to the head office. (not to be over 1.5hours away from UB postcode)
Working knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Mechanical systems an advantage
Will be familiar working in a fast-paced environment
**Salary and benefits**
£60,000.00

Full-time, Permanent position
28 days holiday (including bank holidays) paid.
Overtime available
**Schedule**
Monday to Friday - Minimum 45 hours per week / 8.00am - 17.00pm

This is an office and site-based role when necessary.
