About the role
Being responsible for one of the key areas of our e-commerce operation, you will ensure our order fulfilment is upheld to the highest standard, leading the team in their daily tasks and making sure parcels are shipped accurately and efficiently. You will lead by example, training and mentoring the team to reach organisational and personal goals, delegating tasks, and providing support.
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the role is vital to the success of our online stores. You will create a daily plan based on expected volumes of work and staff levels, monitoring and adjusting throughout the day based on progress. You must be an excellent communicator, mentor and leader, demonstrating an ability to problem solve and delegate tasks to meet strict deadlines whilst keeping a cool head. Additionally, you must be enthusiastic, flexible and pro-active in the running of an efficient department.
What do the first few months look like?
This is an established role and you would be looking to carry on in the same vein as your predecessor. You will learn how our systems work; packing parcels and working with stock, speaking to your colleagues and really getting to grips with the pace of the business. You will spend time developing relationships with your team, understanding how they operate and what motivates them. Once the basics are covered you can start to establish your own ways of working to help improve the department and really make it your own.
About You
Prior experience leading or managing a team
An understanding of Health and Safety protocols
Basic IT knowledge
Excellent communicator
Ability to keep cool under pressure and motivate others
An interest in the outdoors is beneficial but not necessary
**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year
