As of 1st July 2016, only private patients are treated at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital, making us the only purely private hospital in East Anglia and the first within the Nuffield Health Hospitals group. We are currently registered with the Care Quality Commission for 60 beds.

The opportunity
Due to the expansion of our medical records department, we are seeking individuals with a proven ability in records management to join our team. As our Medical Records Administrator you will:
Be responsible for preparing patient records

Complete electronic and manual tracking of records

File all relevant paperwork in patient records

Move notes for storage as needed

Undertake administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing/archiving

Ensure medical records destruction policy is followed

The person

**To succeed as a Medical Records Administrator, you will need**:
To have excellent organisational skills

To show attention to detail in all aspects of the role

To be able to work as part of a team as well as working under your own initiative

To be flexible in your working hours

Experience of excel for data entry tasks

Good numeracy and literacy

Responsible

Independent as lone working may be involved

Able to work to strict deadlines
