As a Barclays Finance Controls Business Partner, you will be part of a fast-paced team with an exciting remit. Finance controls business partners work closely with colleagues across the function, influencing key decisions on controls matters from change initiatives, regulatory focus, and risk assessments. The team brings a lively environment assisting the finance function in implementing the Barclays controls agenda, working closely with the Barclays Europe and Barclays International Finance Senior Management teams.

**Working Flexibly**

**What will you be doing?**:

- Supporting legal entities of Barclays Europe Finance and Barclays International Finance including Finance Transaction Cycle stakeholders
- Driving the controls environment oversight in coordination with global regions to monitor performance of legal entities - Barclays International and Barclays Europe
- Leading the annual Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) of Barclays International Finance and Barclays Europe Finance
- Reviewing and challenge meetings attended by the Senior Management Team from each business areas and presenting to the Head of Functions across Business Partnering
- Providing advice and support to stakeholders such as operations where required on matters such as Balance Sheet substantiation controls within these legal entities
- Managing relationship and collaborate with External Auditors at the Barclays Europe legal entity as part of the annual assessment of control environment
- Handling Barclays Europe and Barclays International legal entity Finance Teams and Business Partnering teams as part of Annual RCSA work

**What we’re looking for**:

- Certified Public Accountant (ACA/CPA) or equivalent
- Excellent skills to manage multiple senior stakeholders
- Sound working knowledge/experience working with Microsoft Office products; specifically, with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good ability to lead, change and drive continuous improvement

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Several years of work experience in Finance or Big four or Financial Services Globally within Governance and Reporting.
- Several years of Audit / Risk / Controls / Compliance domain.
- Understanding of internal controls and governance within Global Financial Services firm
- Excellent communication and interactive skills to be able to communicate at all levels
