On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner for a 12 Months contract based in Glasgow 3 days per week
Provide high-quality financial support and analysis across various locations. This role will support budget holders, ensure financial compliance, and contribute to effective decision-making through accurate reporting and forecasting.
As a Finance Business Partner, your main responsibilities will be:

- Provide financial support and analysis to business units.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and period-end reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis and identify risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and governance.
- Support investment appraisals and cost modelling.

**Essential**:

- Part-qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Good understanding of financial risk and control.
- Experience with Oracle Projects and Power BI.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

**Desirable**:

- Understanding of project management principles and experience of managing complex projects
- Extensive experience of Oracle based systems
