This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the Student Financial Support team as we look to expand our growth in our scholarships portfolio. An excellent opportunity has opened for an experienced scholarships and student financial support administrator in our Student Financial Support team. Acting as the point of contact and administrator for our centrally managed undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research scholarships, you will have strong attention to detail, financial reporting skills and understand the importance of delivering excellent customer service.

The Student Financial Support team provides advice to students and staff on Government funding and scholarships available, and administers all centrally managed scholarships, bursaries, hardship support, placement grants and U.S. Federal Loans. The functions of the team have been critical in supporting students through the impacts of the COVID pandemic and meeting other recent challenges impacting the global community. We have also seen significant growth in the College’s scholarships offered to international and domestic students, reflecting the College’s commitment to improve diversity and open funding opportunities to underrepresented student populations.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Planning the scholarships process to be in-line with internal and external deadlines throughout the yearBeing the point of contact for students, staff and faculty for post-award questions
- You will assist with all aspects of Student Financial Support, in order to support our single student funding advice service to students, applicants and College colleagues.
- You will advise, assess and administer the College’s Student Support Fund.
- You will deliver and maintain excellent relationships with key internal and external staff and donors.

**Essential requirements**:

- Proven experience at similar level
- Commitment to continual professional development in the area of student financial support
- Experience of using and managing databases to store, manipulate and retrieve information
- Experience of planning and progressing work activities within general guidelines, using initiative and judgment, making decisions where necessary
- Experience of data analysis and calculations, presenting findings accurately and appropriately to support effective reporting of information
- A high level of accuracy and consistent attention to detail
- Professionally and personally committed to completing tasks successfully and produce consistently excellent results at work
