**Hours: 35 hours per week (between 08:00 - 17:00)**
**Contract: Permanent**
**Location: Head Office (with some home working)**

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join our Savings Administration team. You will play a key role in ensuring that we deal efficiently with our customer’s requests and will work closely with Telephony and the Branch Network to answer queries and provide administrative support where required.
You will also have an exciting opportunity to be part of the new Savings Programme which is a major transformation that will deliver significant change for Customer Services, the Branches and our Members.

- To process customer instructions and requests accurately and to deliver Team/Department service standards, both individually and collectively as part of the Team
- To deliver excellent customer service with a ‘right first time’ approach, including use of CARES for every interaction with the customer, whether external or internal
- To understand and comply with all regulatory requirements
- To ensure that all Risk and control framework requirements are adhered to
- To challenge existing processes, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
- To develop own skills on an ongoing basis, maintaining Personal Development Plan
**The skills and experience required are**:
- To open and administer direct postal savings and Bond accounts
- To open and administer Electronic and Manual ISA accounts
- Assist with Data Quality Checking if required
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, to include outbound Customer calls as required
- To provide technical product information and support to colleagues in other areas of the Society.
- Quick and accurate keyboard skills to get things right first time and deliver to quality standards
- A great attitude and sparkling personality
- A flexible approach
- A challenging and inquisitive mind
- Ability to work effectively using own initiative or to work equally effectively as part of a Team
- Effective time management skills
- As a secondary role, to provide support to Telephony
