**Software Sales Director. Global Manufacturing Systems, MES, CAD.**

**£80,000 - £100,000 basic pa + Performance based bonus + Benefits Package.**

**Near Chester / North Wales Borders. Some occasional good quality international travel (trade shows in China, USA and Germany)**

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Software Sales Director (or Manager looking for a step up) to extend growth and development of an internationally recognised engineering-based software organisation currently expanding their presence aroundthe globe.

They provide world leading software solutions within their sector (manufacturing engineering systems) with a truly global client base. They are highly profitable with excellent in-house management and technical teams, looking after their key products. Withrecent major investment they are looking to fulfil their growth potential, hence the requirement for a strategic thinking and experienced Software Sales Director to drive growth and revenue within the framework of maintaining technical excellence and first-classservice provision across their range of market sectors and verticals.

You will have prior experience of being responsible for the accounting and revenue generating strategies for a software based business, ideally within a software vendor touching on similar functionality or with Engineering, CAD, MES or ERP type systems.You will able to communicate across all stakeholders, including investment teams and must be highly ambitious and innovative.

This is a highly unusual opportunity that will appeal to a Sales Director with this blend of natural leadership and communication skills with a love of technology driven products within the manufacturing / engineering domain, with a desire to facilitategrowth and revenue on a truly international scale.

**Required Skills**:
5+ year's professional experience as a Software Sales Manager or Sales Director.

Experienced in B2B software (SaaS) and engineering / manufacturing sector focus preferred.

Proven track record of being an individual contributor in new business sales and transitioning towards managing a sales team.

Strategic Thinker.

Experienced enough to leverage manage and provide guidance an support to a small digital marketing team supporting the sales effort as well as further deveoping the mid sized internal sales team.

**Desirable Skill**

Extended European/International network within the manufacturing/engineering SaaS market

Understanding the processes of extended lead generation between the marketing function and sales function - MQL to SQL (CRM)

Ability to speak business level second language is of interest - German and/or any Chinese Dialects in particular though this is in no way essential
