Responsibilities Design, configure, and implement MES solutions to meet Syensqo's business and operational needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Syensqo to integrate MES with other plant systems such as ERP, LIMS, and PLC/DCS systems. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for MES configurations, including process models, data mappings, and user interfaces. Conduct training sessions for Syensqo's end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal system usage. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and functionality. Stay updated on the latest AspenTech APEM features and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in MES strategies at Syensqo. Lead and participate in MES project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget at Syensqo. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MES engineering. Proven track record of successful MES implementation and optimization projects. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and integration points for MES systems. Skills and Competencies In-depth knowledge of MES and its integration with other manufacturing systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams at Syensqo. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with programming/scripting languages and database management is a plus. Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package. The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $108,000–$135,000 per year. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives. 16 or more weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
