As Customer Service Administrator within the Confectionery, Ingredients & Decorations (CID) team, you will be working closely with the sales, technical, finance and supply chain teams with responsibility for:

- Receiving and processing customer orders ensuring where relevant, simultaneous call-off from suppliers in order to ensure all necessary materials are available in the timeframe required by the customer.
- Organising and booking transport (both UK and EU) to ensure deliveries are made on time and in full.
- Managing the movement of products in/out of the country in accordance with relevant local, country and international laws and processes.
- Preparing and submitting relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner eg Incoterms, letters of credit; credit control mechanisms, licences, declarations, transport and safety documentation.
- Maintaining detailed records of all relevant export/import laws and procedures, tariffs and duties, licenses and restrictions applicable to each International Customer.
- Developing good working relationships with customers providing timely information to ensure optimum customer service.
- Obtaining regular forecast information and sharing this with our production facilities and preferred suppliers.
- Updating and maintaining accurate customer data in ERP and Customer Engagement (CE) systems.
- Supporting the business in answering incoming calls and greeting visitors to site.
- Logging and monitoring customer complaints and non-conformances.

This is an excellent opportunity for a team player who is well organised with great communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships at all levels. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and prioritisation skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. IT savvy, you will be driven to provide exceptional customer service and ideally have previous experience in either customer service or a sales support function in a business-to-business environment. Previous experience of export/import documentation would be an absolute bonus

This is a permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week with an early finish on Friday’s.
