bunkered Golf Breaks, as part of DC Thomson, are offering a unique opportunity for a talented Customer Services Executive to assist within our back-office department in an exciting and fast paced working environment. bunkered Golf Breaks was launched in August 2020 and the new venture has hit the ground running providing great value golf breaks at many of Scotland’s most iconic golf venues, as well as courses all over the UK.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a self-start attitude plus a confident and empathetic approach to consumers. A desire to succeed in supporting our golfers across the UK and Ireland through providing a first class aftersales experience is paramount.
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Dealing with all customer enquiries pre and post travel
- Cross checking all bookings against supplier confirmations
- Liaising with our Accounts payable function in regard to invoicing and payments
- Liaising with Suppliers in regard to queries about bookings
- Customer payments, both processing and allocating to the system
- Involvement in post-sales/pre travel amendments and cancellations
- Offering support to the Sales & Contracting Departments
- Monitoring all Golf Break inboxes
**Requirements**:
You will require excellent communication skills and possess the following attributes:
- Customer service department experience, preferably in a travel or golf-based background
- A good understanding of golfers and the game of golf itself
- A natural self-starter who is able to work both remotely but also as a team player
- An ethos of delivering a first-class travel service to our customers both pre and post travel
- A positive attitude towards change within a fast growing environment
- An ability to hit the ground running
