Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the School of Human and Health Sciences at the University of Huddersfield as our new Student Guidance and Support Team Leader.

The postholder will work closely with the Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning to work on projects to improve the university experience for our students. They will manage a team of frontline staff, providing support to students with day-to-day queries, and to students who are struggling either academically or personally.

This is a busy and varied role that requires strong people skills, and a calm and pragmatic attitude. We would love to hear from you if that describes your approach to work and problem-solving.

This post provides an excellent opportunity to work within a University and School with a well-established reputation for excellence in teaching and research. The appointee will make a significant contribution to further enhancing the support we can offer our students.
