Northampton, United Kingdom Starting Off Full time

Key responsibilities will include:
Updating, reviewing and utilising software systems - Microsoft, Digita, ONVIO, XERO etc. Assisting in the completion of book-keeping, bank reconciliations and VAT returns.

Assisting with Payroll tasks.

Assisting with statutory accounts, sole trader/partnership accounts and personal tax returns.

Prioritising a changing to-do list Essential requirements:
Proven Administrative experience with ideally an understanding of accounting principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Be dependable and able to work on own initiative

Strong organisational and time management skills

Have an understanding of GDPR and confidentiality issues

Experience of using systems holding confidential data

Personality profile: Positive 'can do’ attitude Be comfortable with lone working, keeping yourself motivated and focused Competent in prioritising your workload, self-motivated and trustworthy Ability to meet deadlines whilst ensuring high standards aremet Be able to handle conflicting priorities, using initiative to provide solutions Committed to providing a first-class client service

Working hours are typically Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm, 37.5 hours per week, office based Commencing annual leave for full-time working is 30 days including bank/public holidays, these increase with service
