**About the Role**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Accounts Assistant** to join our finance team on a **maternity cover contract**. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy finance department and contribute to the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with month-end procedures
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting the Finance Manager with reporting and analysis
- Handling queries from internal departments and external suppliers
- General administrative duties within the finance team

**What We’re Looking For**:

- experience in an accounts or finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
