Job Title: Accounts Assistant – Maternity Cover

Location: Andover (5 days on-site working)

Contract Type: Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)

Working Hours: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy finance department and contribute to the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements
  • Assisting with month-end procedures
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with reporting and analysis
  • Handling queries from internal departments and external suppliers
  • General administrative duties within the finance team

What We're Looking For:

  • experience in an accounts or finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
