Your responsibilities
- We are looking for a HR Co-ordinator for a period of 9 months, to provide comprehensive first line HR support and data analysis, in day to day and project roles across all aspects of HR, to ensure a high quality of HR service is delivered to the business.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate they can:
- Co-ordinate the administration of various Company benefit schemes, in order to ensure they are effectively monitored, and information is kept up-to-date
- Co-ordinate with the HR Business Centre in relation to offer letters and employment contracts, ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed.
- Provide on-boarding documents in advance to new hires, organise employee inductions and co-ordinate documentation for all employee lifecycle activities
- Collate payroll data and keep track of monthly payroll log, entering data to the HR/payroll system. Liaise with Finance colleagues and ensure employee data is communicated appropriately
- Maintain employee files both on the HRIS and paper HR filing system in line with the data protection act and immigration laws
- Recruitment administration - assist with advertising and reporting on the HR system and working with suppliers of temporary labour to ensure recruitment requirements are met
- Monitor probation deadlines with the HR Team and provide probation confirmation letters
- Monitor completion of annual performance appraisals and bonus payments
- Assist in the development and administration of L&D initiatives and training programmes for staff at all levels
- Co-ordinate Occupational Health Services and administration with the OHP provider
- Assist the HR Business Partner and HR team with HR projects as assigned
- Maintain HR systems, manual and electronic to ensure accurate data is recorded for timely and accurate report generation for managers, HR and external bodies
- Continuously improve systems and process both manual and electronic so as to increase efficiency of service
- Design and produce regular and ad hoc reports to provide senior management and head office with up-to-date and accurate information and update appropriate MRP/MIS systems for general business purposes
- Monitoring of headcount, contractors, training, sickness absence, induction completion and benefits to track data for management information purposes and annual review of providers of services
- Respond to HR queries from staff and external contacts to ensure understanding and implementation of policies and procedures and escalating to the HR Advisor and/or HR Business Partner when necessary
- Ad hoc cover of the receptionist key duties when required.
- Work in accordance with Company Quality Standards, procedures and processes and comply with the requirements of GDP and GMP
- Adhere to the standards of behaviours, policies and procedures as laid out in the Employee Handbook
- Carry out all other essential duties as directed.
Your qualification
Education/Qualifications
- GCSE English
- GCSE Maths
- CIPD or similar HR Certification

- Good working knowledge of HRIS systems
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
