**Purpose: The overall purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the businesses fleet of cars and vans. Ensuing the fleet users have support and guidance in all elements of fleet maintenance.**

**Main Tasks and Objectives**
- To undertake all administrative tasks in relation to the management of the vehicle fleet for the Company.
- To maintain accurate Excel records in relation to the fleet to ensure that full control and visibility of the vehicle fleet is maintained.
- On boarding checks of new fleet users, licence checks and fleet inductions.
- Scheduling of new car preparation and delivery engineers around the country.
- To liaise with the vehicle drivers in the Company and the maintenance companies to ensure that all fleet vehicles are maintained in line with the Company’s vehicle policy and to ensure that the maintenance costs are controlled as much as possible in the circumstances.
- To review the training requirements of the vehicle drivers and recommend suitable training processes to ensure that all drivers are provided with training with a view to maximising driver safety and the prevention of accidents.
- To liaise with the Company’s insurance broker and insurer regarding accidents, understand the claim history and take an active role in attempting to prevent accidents and thus control the insurance costs for the fleet of vehicles leased to the Company.
- Receiving of vehicle fines, re issuing to drivers for appeal or payment.
- Administration of new fleet additions and disposals.
- To communicate with the HR department any fleet management changes, particularly private use of vans for P11d purposes.
- To review the Company’s Driving and Vehicle policy on an annual basis and to amend in line with any legislation or business changes.
- To enter the business mileage for the fuel card holders and fuel spend on the fuel cards, on a monthly basis, as part of the process for HMRC compliance.
- To set up and maintain an inspection systems of company vehicles to ensure safety standards are maintained and to influence/improve drivers’ attitudes.
- Deal with ad hoc driver queries

**Outcomes and Deliverables**
- Efficient and cost effective fleet co-ordination service provided to the business.
- Procurement of the best quality and price available for contract hire vehicles in the market place at the time.
- To develop professional relationships with all suppliers who supply fleet services to the Company and to provide a high level of customer service internally across the organisation.
- To assist all company drivers to ensure the safest possible driving standards are achieved.
- To develop the fleet service continuously in line with the values of the organisation.
- High level of health, safety and environmental compliance.

In addition to the above duties the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
