Social Work Assistant
- Hybrid

Nonstop care is currently working with a well established home in the Whitby area who are looking for a Social Work Assistant or Contact supervisor to join their team.

They offer the opportunity to work from home which offers extra support for their workforce and helps assist with effective and efficient caseload management, giving you greater job satisfaction and flexibility.

In this role you will be joining an local authority with a Outstanding Ofsted rating, meaning that you will be joining an successful team with good practices, enhancing your skills which will help lead to further career opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:
Roles and responsibilities will include;
- Completing a detailed observation and write up of this contact which may be used in court proceedings
- Supporting Social Workers with Social Work Tasks -e.g short pieces of work with children and families during the assessment period including direct work with children to explore wishes and feelings, domestic abuse work with parents, work around physical chastisementetc
- Supporting with collating and producing family chronologies based on file information
