Best Companies accredited AllClear Insurance, are looking for a HR Advisor to help the team to deliver an excellent people experience within the Cardiff office.
The role of HR Advisor will be a busy and varied with a key focus on providing expertise to our line managers on a range of people issues which enable the effective management of people performance, talent, and engagement.
You will provide consistent, high-quality advice and deliver effective solutions across a range of people matters. You will work closely with the HR Manager and Head of HR, providing insight and collaborating on key people activities. You will regularly use data, initiative, and judgement to identify continuous improvement opportunities, whilst also supporting our people to make effective and timely business decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- First point of contact for all HR related queries within the Cardiff office and supporting the wider team where required
- Promote a culture of collaboration and working together to deliver the organisation’s vision, values and strategic objectives
- Managing employee relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations
- Providing advice and support to managers on the absence management process, including holding absence review meetings, and providing absence metrics
- Providing advice and support to managers on the disciplinary process including holding disciplinary meetings
- Providing advice and support to managers on the performance management process, including performance review meetings and setting objectives
- Providing expert advice to line mangers on the interpretation of new and existing HR policies, procedures, and processes
- Support line managers in managing employee relation issues, ensuring they are dealt with both professionally, legally and in a timely manner
- Monitoring, reviewing, and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
- Supporting the HR Manager/Head of HR with various investigations, including grievance, capability, and disciplinary
- Onboarding of all new starters through the 30-, 60- and 90-day questionnaires, including the collation of feedback and distribution to the relevant departments, and management/tracking of improvements required
- Providing training and support to leaders and managers on all employee related processes e.g., Absence Reviews and Disciplinary Hearings
- Supporting with recruitment as and when required e.g., pre-screening, benchmarking of salaries, interviews, interview packs etc.
- Monitoring key recruitment metrics, such as turnover and retention rates and using data to make business improvements
- Assisting to develop a recognised and respected Employer Brand and supporting with EVP initiatives as required
- Supporting with employee engagement incentives e.g., engagement surveys, focus groups and various other feedback streams
- Provide HR Manager and Head of HR with organisational insights to support decision making and make improvements across the business
- Conduct Exit Interviews and collate data, including distributing to the relevant departments and manager, and track improvements required
- Supporting with payroll as and when required

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
