The **Autism Assessment Hub** is part of Antser Group and organisation

The main place of work will be the Head office of **Autism Assessment Hub, 122 Colmore Row, Birmingham, B3 3DB** but the ability to travel to our secondary office in Solihull would be advantageous.

As an Assessment Handler at the Autism Assessment Hub, you will be the one point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring they feel supported throughout their assessment journey. Your role will be key to delivering the best customer service in the industry, requiring compassion, empathy, and excellent listening skills to build strong relationships and offer reassurance. You will handle multiple tasks efficiently, demonstrating outstanding organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. By going the extra mile to assist clients and maintain smooth processes, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality and supportive service.

Successful applicants will receive a full training induction of 4 weeks with further support and guidance provided by the line manager thereafter.

**Core Tasks**
- Provide a detailed overview of our autism assessment process, answering client questions with clarity and professionalism.
- Follow up on enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring clients feel supported and informed.
- Efficiently navigate IT systems to manage client information and processes.
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team and management, ensuring smooth coordination of client assessments.
- Identify and highlight potential risks that may impact the client journey, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.
- Book and coordinate appointment times between clients and associates, including psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and psychiatrists.
- Deal with and respond to queries from our bank of associates, ensuring smooth communication and problem resolution.
- Liaise with external partners to book Hub rooms as needed.
- Coordinate and distribute assessment kits, ensuring clients receive necessary resources.
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exhibit excellent communication, listening, and customer service skills to support a seamless client experience.
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships, proactively working with colleagues across teams to ensure a cohesive and efficient service.

**Additional Duties**
- The post holder will be expected to demonstrate that Autism Assessment Hub values are at the centre of all they do.
- The post holder will be expected to undertake training and development deemed necessary for the pursuance of the post
- The post holder will be expected to have a basic standard of I.T. competence to be able to use Company electronic systems effectively
- The post holder will be expected to ensure to comply with Equal Opportunities Policy and Procedure in all employment practices
- The post holder will be expected to comply with the no smoking policy in place and ensure that Health and Safety is observed in the course of employment
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures, throughout all work within the Company, keeping the Registered Manager/ Director/ equivalent informed of work in progress and inform the Registered Manager/ Director/ equivalent immediately of any safeguarding matter or serious complaint.

**Full time (37 hours per week) - Mon - Friday.**

**Starting annual leave allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays, with incremental increases up to 30 days. Birthdays also permitted as leave.**

**It is the nature of work of Autism Assessment Hub that tasks and responsibilities are, in many circumstances, unpredictable and varied. All staff are, therefore, expected to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises where tasks are not specifically covered in the Job Description and must be undertaken.**

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
