Brighton, United Kingdom Accountancy Expertise Ltd Full time

Our client a forward thinking, independent accountancy practice is seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team in Brighton.

The position will involve being responsible for a mixed portfolio of clients, dealing with a variety of accounts, including preparation and review of accounts and bookkeeping, VAT and corporation tax.

Duties will include:

- Preparing year-end and statutory accounts
- Accessing financial records of the clients
- Preparing, reconciling, and filing VAT and Sales returns
- Reviewing bookkeeping and accounts and preparing management accounts
- Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
- Liaising and meeting with clients on a regular basis

They are ideally looking for someone with at least 2-3 years' practice experience with a professional qualification such as AAT/ACCA or ACA. Although study support is offered if required. You will also possess a strong knowledge of accounts, as well as excellentcommunication and organisational skills.

A good working knowledge of computerised systems such as IRIS and QuickBooks, would be helpful. Microsoft packages would also be an advantage.

This role can be office based or hybrid after an initial short period
