Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and UK tax regulations.Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted adviser, handling day-to-day queries and proactively addressing clients' accounting and business needs. Assist clients with accounting software, including Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.Team Training and Mentoring: Supervise and mentor junior accountants and trainees, fostering their professional development.Quality Control and Compliance: Implement review processes to ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and the latest tax legislation.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve internal processes or enhance the client service experience.Required Skills & QualificationsQualifications: AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.Experience: Minimum of 2 years in practice, with a strong background in accounts preparation, basic tax return preparation, bookkeeping, and VAT.Technical Skills: Proficient in UK accounting standards (UK GAAP and/or IFRS) and tax compliance.
