I am currently looking for a Data Governance and Quality Manager to work on a permanent basis for my Midlands based client. You will be responsible for the implementation of a Data Governance & Quality framework for their strategic data platform, developingand delivering their Data Governance & Quality strategy including a robust governance process that enables them to provide sensitive data insights, securely and safely, to support their commercial strategy. This is a hybrid role with presence in the office only required once per week To be successful you will require: - Strong experience in a similar role delivering a strategic data governance and quality roadmap. - Strategic thinking, able to think at speed and quickly adapt to changing demands, able to analyse complex situations, find solutions to problems, and make informed decisions - An in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, including M365, Azure and D365 - An in-depth understanding of data security principles to operate and deliver with a security first approach - Experience of working with Azure technologies including Data Lake gen 2, Data Factory, Synapse, Analysis Services, Power BI - Previous experience of working with Data Governance & Quality software such as Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Data Quality Services (DQS) - Experience of working with Microsoft data pricing models - Strong customer orientation, with excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and troubleshooting skills a must - Working with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels in the business. - Introducing and promoting the concepts of Data Governance & Quality to a "green-field site" (i.e., a company that currently has limited exposure to Data Governance)
