You'll have the support of a curriculum team and a leader with significant experience.

Axia, a private training provider was established in 1999 and we have been working with businesses in a range of sectors. We have excellent provision in leadership and management, delivering apprenticeships in faculties - Level 2 Facilities Operative, Level 3 Facilities Management Supervisor and Level 4 Facilities Manager.

We are looking for a trainer who could deliver across these areas, with the potential to deliver an additional programme online Facilities Level 4 Diploma

You'll be motivated, self-managing, dynamic and passionate about developing people to achieve their potential.

**Outline of the role**:
Support the recruitment and assessment of learners, deliver training, track, monitor and drive progress of apprentices. This will involve assessing competence and preparing apprentices for End Point Assessment. Delivery is mainly in the workplace, delivering to groups, a blend of classroom-based sessions or distance learning (remote over Teams). You will also carry out reviews every 10-12 weeks with the apprentice and employer to track and monitor progress and focus on skills development.

Supporting a caseload of apprentices (approx 15-21, over 2/3 days a week). FTE 35.

Work with appropriate colleagues to implement Standards and other new programmes within your remit that are identified as viable additions to our portfolio. Develop appropriate resources to support these programmes.

**Main Duties**

Carry out induction, reviews, delivery and assessment of competence against the apprenticeship standard, including group or classroom based sessions, in the workplace.

Support our drive for growth and take part in curriculum development activities with the team and attend appropriate curriculum development events to ensure that the curriculum portfolio remains current and the assessment procedures are relevant.

Develop and deliver teaching using innovative resources and teaching materials to meet course frameworks, standards, and distance learning outcomes across all programmes.

Set, mark and assess students’ work, ensuring that learning outcomes have been met and that feedback is both detailed and constructive.

Ensure learner progression and destination is fully supported and tracked contributing where appropriate to development of company strategy in terms of delivery and training portfolio.

Take part in the internal moderation and workshops to prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment.

Adopt a flexible approach to the delivery of duties, working out of normal hours and out of the local area if necessary, to meet operational demands of employers and learners.

You must have previous industrial experience in leadership and management training.

You must be passionate about developing people and be able to support the individuals' needs.

You must have experience of supporting apprenticeship standards.

You must hold English and maths qualifications at level 2, and have excellent IT skills, including using Teams to deliver online training. You will use an eportfolio to manage the apprentices and support them in uploading work and skills evidence.

Ideally you will hold a teaching / assessing qualification.

You will be required to have Enhanced DBS clearance.

Apprentices will be based in Staffordshire and the wider area, so you must have access to travel across these areas and have suitable car insurance for business purposes.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 14 - 21 per week
