**Finance Assistant - Part Time**

**Purpose**:
This role will be working as part of a small team, covering all aspects of day-to-day Finance. Through maintaining financial systems, recording and processing financial information, data entry and general financial administration, the Finance Assistant will help to ensure effective financial management across the company.

**Location: Poole Site**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Sales receipts - daily reconciliation of incoming bank entries, posting from the bank account to finance systems and a bespoke vehicle management system
- Handling enquires (both internal and external) relating to these incoming payments and other general finance queries
- Raising of sales ledger invoices and statements, and liaising with associated third parties
- Management of vehicle purchases - processing purchases invoices and making payment for these vehicles
- General support of the purchase ledger function
- Support the Financial Controller in ad hoc tasks including; data analysis and other finance related duties
- Holiday cover for other areas of the finance department

**Experience & Essential Qualities**:

- Accounting/bookkeeping experience (sales ledger/purchase ledger experience essential)
- IT skills - proficient in MS Office/Excel
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Interpersonal, communication and teamworking skills
- A high level of commitment and attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills

**Remuneration**

**Salary**: up to £26,000 pro rata

Working Hours: 25 hours - 8am-1pm Monday - Friday
