**About Our Client**:
Our Client, based in Poole, are a growing business in the building and construction sector across the South, and are actively seeking a Finance Assistant to support their finance function.

Finance Assistant role:

- Invoice processing into new ERP finance system
- Checking of invoices to purchase orders and completing the authorisation of all invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts to statements
- Payment of suppliers and subcontractors
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- General finance administrative support
- Filing, printing, and archiving
- Supporting the wider Finance and Operational Teams

**The Successful Applicant**:
Finance Assistant:

- AAT Level 3 (ideal but not essential)
- At least 2 years' prior experience of working within a finance team
- Basic accounting knowledge. Ideally project / job costing
- Accounting system knowledge - previous experience with Business Central would be advantageous but is not essential
- Previous experience of the construction industry would be advantageous, specifically processing of sub-contractors (CIS/retentions)
- Intermediate Excel skills
